Workshops and talks
Working sessions for leadership groups who want to use AI as a serious thinking partner, and keep the judgment with their own people.
School and district leaders
A session for superintendents, principals, and their teams on two practical questions. What mix of activities in a block of class time helps students learn with AI, and what mix gets in the way? And does your district's draft AI policy cover the legal, social, and cultural specifics of your community? We work from your own schedules and your own drafts. In person or on Zoom.
University leaders
For deans, provosts, and program directors deciding what AI means for teaching, research, and new programs. I spent fifteen years building programs at Bangor University in Wales, so the session starts from how universities actually decide things.
A strategy day
One focused day on one hard decision your team is facing now. We map the problem across the dimensions it really has (the people, the money, the rules, the history, and how everyone feels about it) and look for the few moves worth making. You get a written synthesis within 48 hours.
Talks
On gliding with AI, on Transversal Design, and on designing for the people most designs leave out. For conferences, leadership retreats, and faculty development.
For several years I ran executive classes in Kuala Lumpur for banks and other financial institutions, and even for Malaysia's central bank, Bank Negara Malaysia!
I was named a UK National Teaching Fellow in 2014, the country's highest award for teaching in higher education.
Tell me who the group is, rough dates, and the question on your mind.
